Welcome to Mindful Life Dorset.

I offer Mindfulness Courses in Dorset to enhance well-being, help cope with stress and improve mood. Cultivating mindfulness enables us to be more present in each moment of our lives, and therefore fully appreciate enjoyable experiences and cope more effectively with challenges and difficulties when these arise.

Mindfulness is defined as “paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the present moment and non-judgementally” (Jon Kabat-Zinn).

Mindfulness Course Dates

The next mindfulness course is scheduled to commence on 5th October 2020 and will take place 7-9pm for 8 consecutive Mondays until 23rd November.  Due to the current circumstances this course will take place online using Zoom, which is easily accessible using a smart phone, tablet or laptop. We completed the last course this way, as we were part way through when lockdown commenced, and the feedback was favourable. We will not be able to meet for the practice day, however, and so this will be arranged once we are able to meet in-person.

Courses will return to Sarpenela Natural Therapies Centre, Farnham, Dorset, DT11 8DG when this becomes possible. Sarpenela is accessible from Blandford, Shaftesbury, Salisbury, Wimborne, Verwood, Ringwood, throughout Dorset and the borders of Hampshire and Wiltshire.

When we are able to meet up again courses can also take place in accessible locations in other East Dorset villages, including Cranborne or Verwood, 7-9pm for eight weeks, on the most convenient evening for participants. Courses will usually start in February, May and September.
