Welcome to Mindful Life Dorset.
Mindfulness is defined as “paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the present moment and non-judgementally” (Jon Kabat-Zinn).
Mindfulness can enhance our well-being, help us cope with stress and improve mood. Cultivating mindfulness can enable us to be more present in each moment of our lives, and therefore fully appreciate enjoyable experiences and cope more effectively with challenges and difficulties when these arise. Joining an eight-week course will support you in cultivating your mindfulness practice and enhancing your well-being.
Courses run 7-9pm on Monday evenings at Sarpenela Natural Therapies Centre, Farnham, Dorset, DT11 8DG which is accessible from Blandford, Shaftesbury, Salisbury, Wimborne, Verwood, Ringwood, throughout Dorset and the borders of Hampshire and Wiltshire.
Courses can also take place in accessible locations in other East Dorset villages, 7-9pm for eight weeks, on the most convenient evening for participants. Courses will usually start in February, May and September.
